Did you say that if i live in NY and i sell my sculptures in another state ... that sales tax is not included in other states .... saving that money.. is that right.
If taxes are to be charged in the state where your customer is located, Shopify will add it to the order.
@@KerryEgeler THANKS, are you familiar with ECWID... it is another selling sight.. They have a free plan but it does not come with TAXES CALCULATED automatically... only the paid plans on ECWID... it seems like their free plan is a little inadequet if it does not help with taxes calculated automatically.. I cant imagine selling in a STATE where taxes are not going to be charged.
First thing I did after finding this business was to do a search where they're located. No thank you China! Plus, there's China written on labels, packaging - forget it!

There is no question that Barbie is trademarked and it is infringement unless it is from a reputable company that has paid big bucks to get the rights. There is no getting around the fact it Looks like Barbie but places like Canva do have permissions for some companies to use elements. Example is Minecraft but I have heard Minecraft likes the free advertising disclaimer Canva Premium has them not free version.
Ty Kerry! Lots of good direction here. Trying to keep things on the simpler side for a startup. Do you have a recommended number of products to start with so it's not too small of a selection?
I recommend starting with 3-5 designs, with consistent release of new designs after your launch. Here's a great free online Masterclass that simplifies your launch process and includes some extra guidance on your question: www.kerryegeler.com/shirtschool
Neither. Next Level is sized for women now. Stretches out with a tinker bell effect after sitting down a couple times, shrinks like crazy, armpit holes, bottom hems unraveled. Pre 2022 they were pretty decent. Bella version is horrible too. Sized for women. Shrinks even more. Sleeves are super short, huge 21" bacon necks, shirts too short and boxy. Both these companies have destroyed their QC. I have Jerzees and Under Armour shirts from 6 years ago that have never lost their shape. Sad state of affairs.
